Call me an Instaddict.

Yes, I'm an Instaddict. Which is a combination of Instagram and addict. I use Instagram every day even if I don't post photos every day. If I don't post photos, I just browse through my timeline or the popular page to look and like photos. I'm actually pretty thankful for the invention of Instagram cos it opened up my world to a whole new level full of pretty photos and places I'd like to go to. So anyways, here are a few recent Instagram photos uploaded by yours truly and my username is Zhiyin_g.

My little princess. ISN'T SHE ADORABLE?! Okay, sorry that she's a bit messy but I still think she's the cutest dog on earth and I like to mess her hair up hahaha. But she's cute and always leave a bit of her tongue hanging out. She's a shihtzu, btw and her name is Kookie. Been with me for 3-4 years which makes her 5-6 years old now and she's like my little sister. Just that.. she can't talk.

I know I look like some awkward model wannabe but hey, I rarely take ootd photos. And sorry for the act cute faces hahaha I've no idea why I did that. Probably too bored. Anyways, I took these photos and posted on Facebook cos my aunt actually complained that I'm very inactive on Facebook. My aunt, who's 50 or 60+ years old, complained about me, being inactive on Facebook. Yeap. That shows how inactive I really am.

My new kickssssss. Ain't they lovely?! I bought them at... $89 if I'm not wrong? Sorry I have the memory size of a pea so I can't really remember. But it's Vans and I love the tribal print at the sides. Although it's giving me blisters but I'm loving them. Lots of love to Vans for making such wonderful shoes to satisfy my hunger for kicks!

A collage of two panoramic photos taken before the Jean Yip's Dinner & Dance and these are photos of my mentor (Tejay from Showmakers) programming lights. I like taking panoramic shots when he's programming lights cos I can get the rainbow effect if I'm lucky.

Another photo during the event. That's Dawn Yip singing on stage and I'm amazed by how she can walk around on stage with crazy high heels and a dress with such a trail that she keeps tripping over it but wouldn't fall.

Tihs was taken at the CASS Commencement Dinner 2013, which is also an unofficial graduation dinner for us Year 3s at Singapore Polytechnic School of Communication, Arts and Social Sciences.

A few of my classmates that spent 3 years with me - Fareesha, Pauline, Ruby, Belicia, Suet Ling, Wijitra and Syahirah. (From left to right)

My favourite Indian friend, Guna. Hahaha, nah actually one of my besties. I still remember us dancing together at the Freshmen Orientation Programme. Damn, time pass by really fast. I hope that as the years go by, we are still besties who go out for good food and drinks. Maybe some partying, of course. Hahaha.

And this is someone I am very thankful for, who is my Liaison Officer for my internship. He's Mr Kan! Simple things like paying visits to my internship company actually gives me a lot of reassurance that we are not forgotten even though we're sent out of school to work. Thank you, Mr Kan, for your tweets and texts and also the free meals! Hahaha.

Alright, shall end of this post with a quote - "Everything started as nothing."
I continued it by saying "And someday we'll become something." in my Instagram.

So, this marks the end of this post! I hope you lovelies enjoyed my photos and feel free to like my photos at Zhiyin_g! And if you have any job intros for AVL companies, do email me, tweet me or talk to me on my Instagram photos! See ya! X

Internship.

I'm so, so, so sorry I've neglected my blog for almost a month! I was so busy with school a few weeks ago then right after it was internship and it was one helluva schedule. But I have to say, I enjoy working in the company that I am posted to and I actually like being so busy. In fact, I'm blogging now cos it's my off day and I'm really getting a bit too bored. Feels weird to have off days.. Anyways, I made a photo collage for everyday I worked, except Day 10. I've no idea why I totally forgot to take photos for that day. So here are some of the photos I took during internship!

For Day 1, what we did - Christmas cards, CNY cards, doing ITQ and camwhoring.

I drew this after my first day of work at home. Took like a whole hour for this. Probably because I was watching the TV while doing this!

Yeap, that's me chillin' likeaboss during break at the sound and lights crew area with my blue jeans and red bowler shoes. Okay, that's what Jazz calls it - bowler shoes.

Day 2's collage, I was onboard for Alice in a Christmas Wonderland with Abigail and Aloysius at Raffles City. Initial ootd was black top with gold pocket from flea at Scape then I changed to my company shirt, blue jeans from some random shop at Century Square a few years back and red bowler shoes from Far East Plaza basement.

Day 3, at Raffles City - Queenie and her flamingos; Abbie, trying to pump carbon dioxide into the confetti cannon; the lights board; ootd - Zigzag top from Bangkok, cardi from ohsofickle's store at Haji Lane, black skinnies from LE7 at Century Square and red bowler shoes.

Day 4, at Chinatown Point then to Swissotel at Raffles City - Faris, me and Bella (sorry I cut off your faces! :/); the rainbow lighting of CTP's ceiling; calendar of events at CTP; the stage; and that's the store manager telling Faris he can't use the basket holder as a trolley. Ootd was moustache shirt from flea at Scape, with jeans and bowler shoes. (Yes, the jeans and bowler shoes are the staples every day)

Day 5, at Chinatown Point - super cute kids who ran up the stage all at once when the puppeteer actually only pointed at one of them to go up on stage; my bruise which isn't really visible here but actually was a crazy dark purple-blackish colour; and me sulking cos I'm too tired. Haha!

Mixer at Chinatown Point.

Raffi, the DJ of the day!

Collage of Day 6, at CTP - big ass CD player; Raffi the DJ; me and Angel; me and Faris; and me and Jazz.

Day 7, spent the day in the office and the night at Katong Mall, also known as I12- Bella and I, Palvin and Tejay who then put that as my home and lock screen (wth, I'll have my revenge, guys!); and the mixer at Katong Mall.

Day 8, at CTP - speaker with ceiling (probably thought that was some cool shot so took it but now I see it, it seems.. pointless.); console; Jazz and crew lying on the stage checking the ceiling lights; cool purple lights done by Jazz who's just an in-house tech at CTP so I was really amazed; and that's Explorer Joe, the puppeteer!

Day 9, at the office - that's the pantry with just some biscuits, tea and coffee and loads of water; us out for lunch; my schedule.

Yeap I missed day 10 so here's Day 11, at Alkaff Mansion in the morning then to Katong Mall - Bella and I at Alkaff's toilet which was really atas-looking; mixer at Katong; and the stage at Katong.

Day 12 at Katong Mall in the evening then to Alkaff at night - Polkadot and Moonbeam performing at Katong; cute kids enjoying to their music; grand wedding at Alkaff with pretty decorations and lights.

My lovely friend, whom we call each other love, darling, sayang and all for fun, is Jazz from Chinatown Point. It all started cos I bought for him Pepsi. Hahaha, funny and nice guy. I felt very heartwarming when he said that he's happy to have a crazy friend like me. Yes, his English may not be that good but it's still touching nonetheless.

Yeap, here's my face. As if you haven't seen enough of it. I'm so wearing this on Christmas Day when I'm working. No joke. So if you see someone at Katong Mall wearing this reindeer hairband, yeap, that's most probably me.

Day 13 at Katong Mall and Raffles City - two really cute angmoh kids jumping and dancing during Polkadot and Moonbeam's performance; that's my face and the reindeer hairband again; me wearing the company shirt with my name written on a Alice in a Christmas Wonderland leftover sticker; and the rest of the stickers with my colleagues' names on them.

So.. a rare collage of myself with the reindeer hairband. I don't really take that many self shots plus I don't usually wear these decorative hairbands so I took the opportunity to take some photos. And.. well, make myself feel better after Vincent, a colleague, took really ridiculous photos of me and posted it on Facebook. Haha! Anyways, in case you were wondering, I didn't edit any of the photos. Just posted them on Instagram with the default effects you see on Instagram so yes, that's why you see my huge eye bags and dark eye circles.

I've spent several late nights doing events and I've been working so hard because I don't wanna leave the company and graduate from SP without learning anything. Also, I'd feel bad towards those who actually see potential in me. Which is why I slog my ass off to actually satisfy my learning needs and be the person that everyone hopes that I would be. Probably to some, I look like I'm trying too hard to impress the bosses and get good grades but as long as my conscience is clear, say whatever you want. In any case, hope all SP mass communication interns are doing well! Till next time, lovelies!

It's ending!!!

Well, I meant the holidays. It's weird how we dread school and can't wait for the holidays but when the holidays are here, we just spend time slacking on bed, playing with the phone and can't wait for school to start. But then again, we hate how early we have to wake up for school, along with the crazy amount of work to be done. That's us, human.

Anyways, a friend of mine said I'm too good of a person. Because I wouldn't do what others did to me. I don't know whether to trust that or not cos I have a fair amount of people who think I'm the ultimate badass right now. When people backstab me, even if I know he/she is doing that, I still let he/she do so. I wouldn't stop her or do the same to her, not because I can't. But because I don't want to. He/she may not be considered as a friend for doing that to me, but I just can't do whatever he/she did. Also, when it comes to money, I borrow to those who ask. And then I sometimes find myself hard to ask the money back. For some, to get to the top, they'd do anything to push others down. But I can't do that too. I mean, why should I? Why not let everyone get to the top together? And if I can't be at the top, I'd just be happy for those who made it.

You guys probably think I'm just saying for the sake of this blog. But if you really know me, if I did something wrong to you, it's probably because I ran out of options.

Alright, I'm going Genting soon and I can't wait! Finally a short getaway to somewhere where the weather is not so crazy like Singapore cos Singapore's weather is just.. unacceptable. I know most of you would agree to this. Or probably all. I might take some photos and upload them here when I'm back, so stay tuned, my lovelies! Bye! <3

Oops!

Sorry lovelies, that I was gone, again, for a long time. Well, school's hectic. So is life.

Life hasn't been really great for me but I didn't mention any of it to anyone other than my boyfriend. So I guess that's why I've been having really bad tempers and blasting my fury onto him. A question has been bugging me for a god damn long time. Which I think a lot of people do too, which is why do friends leave or backstab even though you put in so much effort to maintain that friendship? I admit, at times I've done things or mistakes that caused my friends to push me away. I do not blame them for the mistakes I've made. But I do wonder about those who just suddenly, for no reason, push themselves away from me. Frankly speaking, I treasure friendship a lot. Really, a lot. And I do love some of my friends as if they're my brothers and sisters. But somehow, somewhere, something goes wrong which I don't know what and they're gone before I know it. I keep asking myself, is it my fault? Is it something about me that chase them away? Some told me, people take me for granted. They just use me and they're gone when they find no value in me. Is it true? I really hope it isn't. Cos I don't wish to think any of them this way.

Family has also been an issue for me. Fretting over it a lot but nothing can be done. I'm not gonna go into so much details cos well, it's family.

I just hope I can go away from all of these for a few days to somewhere out of Singapore and have no contact with anyone else. Just me, boyfriend and maybe a few close friends. That's all I hope for. Really. Cos right now, a getaway is what I really yearn for. Desperately.

Bye, my lovelies. Hope you guys are not as stressful as me right now!

Second week of school.

Sorry I was gone for like almost 2 weeks! These 2 weeks I've been busy spending my time with the BGLDL clique and we spent most of our time outdoors. Not forgetting the ridiculous amount of money we're spending! I think I spent like almost $80 in 3 days. Omg, I'm a damn spendthrift. Thank goodness my first pay cheque is here. Waiting for my second and third ones!

In life, people come and go and at most of the time, we can't do anything about it. I hate it, no doubt. But it's a part of life and it can't be prevented. All we can do is just sulk or fret over why we lose this friend or person and then move on in life. For me, I treasure the friends I have now. Yes, I've made mistakes in the past that caused me to lose friends that I never wanted to lose. I blame myself for that, but I can't do anything. So I really treasure the friends I'm having now. But somehow, under certain circumstances, people still push themselves away from you. It hurts not being able to be as close than before, but it's their mentality and they have their reasons to push themselves away from you. Just wanna tell everyone out there to cherish the friends you have now for good things don't last. They don't usually last.

Anyways, first week of school was really nothing much. Just going through CA briefs and having some ice breaker games that we pretty much do every single year. It's gonna be a stressful year, I know, cos it's only the first week and we're already talking about projects and Final Year Project (FYP). Not forgetting that I'll be having my ITP soon, which will last for 3 months and makes up 17 credit units. So if I get a B for this, that's it. I'm so gonna cry my eyeballs out. Hope things will go well for my last year cos I really wanna graduate with at least a 3.0 GPA. I'd be satisfied with that!

Shall end the post with a photo of me and my lovely friend, Peiling! <3 Tata lovelies!
