SP Open House.

Hi guys! So I've been pretty busy lately, struggling with all the lessons, studying for a paper that I had and also cos of some upcoming events! But what I'm going to talk about today would be an upcoming event in Singapore Polytechnic (SP)! I may not be involved in this but I hope you guys would come and visit!

From 5th January (which would be today, Thursday) to 7th January (Saturday), SP will be having a Open House! This year's Open House is known to be the most grand open house ever held in SP! Free Baggu bags will be given to students who tour around SP! (Hey, come on. We're like the only polytechnic giving out Baggu bags! I swear!) We'll have tour guides, course councillors and lecturers who're there to give you a tour around your school and answer your doubts. We will also be having performances and live bands showcasing what they've got right at the the open area you see when you first walk into SP! SP Open House (SPOH) will be ongoing from 10am to 6pm but will be extended to 10pm on 6 January (Friday). So here are the main programmes that'll be going on during the SPOH. 

Course Counselling: 

- 5 January to 7 January (Thursday to Saturday)

- 10am to 6pm (extended to 10pm on 6 January, Friday)

- SP Convention Centre (Walk straight when you walk out from the MRT and turn right at the first path)

Parents Forum: 

- 6 January (Friday), 7.30pm

- 7 January (Saturday), 10.30am

- The Auditorium (Walk straight when you walk out from the MRT, walk down the flight of stairs, turn right and you'll see another flight of stairs down. That's the Auditorium.)

Courses and Career Seminar

- 10 January (Tuesday), 7.30pm and 8.30pm

Alright, so you may think, what's so special about SP? Well, here's what so special about us: WE ARE THE FIRST EVER POLYTECHNIC BUILT IN SINGAPORE. Yeap, that's the truth. Check the history of every polytechnic and you'll find that SP is the first polytechnic in Singapore. You may think, oh, old school = old-fashioned. Well, that's where you're wrong! Come down and have a look before judging us by our history. You'll be amazed by our classrooms and different facilities available. I know you'll not believe me but what about the words of a blogger whom is a stranger to me? Well, her name's Peishi and she was invited to SP along with a few of her friends to have a tour around SP! Her blog's itsthylife.blogspot.com. We also have 120 CCAs of different types from religious clubs to dance sports, singing clubs to dragon-boating and more! No worries, we have every CCA that you're looking for! Also, we have 6 foodcourts located around SP so you wouldn't worry about going hungry! We have McDonald's, KFC, Subway, Burger King and also normal food courts.
