Faith and Humanity.

A hiatus for almost 5 months. Figured out that not many people are reading plus didn't really have much to write about.

And finally after 5 months, I've decided to turn to this very blog to say what I feel after watching Angels & Demons which was derived from the book with the same name 'Angels & Demons' by Dan Brown. Even though my eyelids are feeling pretty heavy now and my vision is getting a bit wonky from staring at the screen for too long. Dang.

It is 3.30am and I am writing this post because I am still pretty shaken by how evil some humans can be. They act in the name of God of their religion but twist the teachings from their holy books and do things that involve bloodshed.

I am disgusted by some humans, to be honest. Their ugly nature of harming, hurting and killing for greed, for desire.. It's revolting. Sometimes I even feel that animals who kill for a living are better than humans. They kill because they have to eat. They eat because they have to live. But humans kill because they either feel threatened by others' presence or just want to fulfil their wants. Animals kill for their needs. Humans kill for their wants.

I feel that when people want to do things that go against human nature, do not use your God's name to make yourself look better. Do not use God's name to make it seem like a right and just thing that you have to do. Do it in your name, because you are doing it with your hands, with your will.

Yes, you belong to your God. But in every religion, no God wants their sons and daughters to harm others in the name of God. No God wants his offspring to harm others just because they do not believe in the same God.

I will not mention my religion in fear that some may think that I am siding my own religion. But I really respect every religion regardless it being their beliefs or their Gods. Honestly speaking, I believe in the existence in every religion's Gods but my heart belongs to the God(s) of my religion.

They say that 'words from us may be words from our God'. And that is the sentence that many abuse. If others do not believe in your God, let them be. If others do not believe in your religion, walk away from them. If others do not respect your religion, have more faith in your God and hope that one day, someone would enlighten them.

Misinterpretations or varied interpretations of the various religions' holy books have turned the different religions against the others. It is sad, to see people of different religions hurting, slaying and bombing each other. Don't they know that violence only leads to more violence? It is a vicious cycle that our Gods have never wanted us to be stuck in.

Respect your God. And respect his God. For no one deserves to be killed in the name of God.
